Kulti by Mariana Zapata is the definition of a slow burn by not moving slow at all. Kick ass heroine, broody, world class athlete equals perfection. You will laugh your butt off and you will swoon!! Kulti is definitely a slow burn romance with plenty of angst, drama, chemistry and sexual heat. Mariana Zapata didn’t disappoint on that part, the journey to romance was excruciatingly slow. Maybe a little too slow at times when you went into a book looking for romance and all you have up until 80% of the book is a friendship in the making with barely there hints that something is happening on both sides.
