I'm a sucker for a nice book with the whole marriage-of-conviniance and slow burn trope so I didn't hesitate to pick this book up and lets just say Aiden is a football god and Va. I think this was my second book by Zapata (the first being Luna and the Lie) and while I wasn't sure I liked her stuff after reading that book, the Wall and Winnipeg and Me changed the game! Zapata is the QUEEN of slow burns and every single one of her books that I've read after this have been incredibly satisfying, tearing up at all my.
